Tomato Basil Pappardelle Al Telefono

 
  • 1 Jar Gia Russa Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
    1 lb. Egg Pappardelle of choice
    1 pt. Heavy Whipping Cream
    4 oz. Fresh Mozzarella Balls (1/8 slices)
    8-10 Fresh Basil Leaves (torn)
    Shaved Parmigiana-Reggiano

  • In a large pot, prepare pasta al dente according to package instructions.


    In a large skillet, heat the Gia Russa Tomato Basil sauce over medium heat for approximately 5 minutes; gently stir in the cream and heat for an additional 5 minutes.


    Add the fresh mozzarella and continue stirring while cheese melts; add the basil.


    Drain pasta and gently pan toss for an additional 2-3 minutes.
